In this episode, Jerry discusses the necessity of lateral movements to give you the width on top of thickness for a balanced physique.  Too often too much concentration is put on power and strength movements.  Those movements tend to create thickness, which is a great thing.  However, to round out the physique, it takes lateral movements that increase width.
